In all honesty, there is very little difference between a Podiatrist and Chiropodist. To use the term Podiatrist or Chiropodist the Clinician must be registered with the HCPC and hold a BSc(Hons) degree which takes 3 years minimum to complete.

We are located approximately a 5 minute drive from the M60, and Stockport Town centre.
There is a layby just outside the clinic , with parking available for up to 2 hours duration for free.
If the layby is full there is a side street just a few minutes walk from clinic with ample street parking.
This depends on your reason for attending. It is important to book the right appointment to ensure you have the correct amount of time needed with the most suitable clinician.
If it is your first time in clinic and you are attending for Footcare, Corn/callus removal etc- then please book a First appointment.
If it is your first time in clinic due to foot pain, Sports injury, or for further assessment then please book for a Podiatry Consultation appointment.
If you have attended clinic and attending for further appointment then please book a follow up appointment.

There are several reasons why corns may be present. One main reason is due to pressure. We can advise on the best way to relieve this pressure. It could be footwear advice, or orthotic treatment.
Corns do tend to return if the pressure is not reduced, and therefore it is completely normal for corn to return within approximately 6-8 weeks.
During your appointment with our Podiatrist we will discuss the best treatment protocol for you to increase as much time between appointments as possible.
